  • Updates to Snap:
    • The Rephrase feature adds "Improve Writing" and "Fix Errors" modes that don’t require style settings.
    • You can now switch the LLM when an AI response fails.
    • The “Unread summary” message only appears for three or more unread messages.
  • [Plug-in: Approvals] Email notifications for requests are now supported.
  • You can now manage your account password on your own schedule.

Bug fixes:

  • The “Untitled bucket” in a project incorrectly displayed the option to delete.

What’s new:

  • You can now give feedback on Snap’s AI-generated responses. Simply click the thumbs up or thumbs down icon to like or dislike, and let us know why you feel that way. Your input helps us improve.
  • Snap now supports new Large Language Models—Gemini and Claude. More updates to our language models are on the way.

Enhancements:

  • Only the last six months of notification history will now be retained in the notification panel to avoid unnecessary data clutter.

Bug fixes:

  • When using the tablet app on a foldable device, unfolding the device horizontally or rotating it to landscape mode could occasionally obscure the profile area or the organization list.
  • [Plug-in: Approvals] After submitting a request, the user wouldn’t be taken to Submissions.
  • [Plug-in: approvals] Fixed some bugs with rich text.

  • [Plug-in: Approvals] We’ve added new features and updates to streamline your approval process.

Changes:

  • Hungarian, Hindi, and Tagalog have been removed from our app's language settings, but remain supported within Snap.

Bug fixes:

  • Attaching files to a posted idea or editing an idea with files attached would unexpectedly close the app.
  • In Members, setting some filters and clearing them all still retained the previous filters.

Bug fixes:

  • When assigning tasks, the project members didn’t appear in the list.
  • The reset feature in the Snap panel failed to clear the settings of the large language model (LLM).
  • The text editor failed to display the attachments when too many files are attached.
  • [Plug-in: Approvals] Fixed the following bugs:
    • After filtering the request list by “Template" and “Requesting team,” the “Back” button wouldn’t function.

    • When adding approvers and CC recipients, it was impossible to navigate teams.

    • During request sharing, the channel list didn’t categorize channels as public and private.

    • Photos or videos taken while drafting a request weren’t properly attached.

Bug fixes:

  • The backspace button became unresponsive if you deleted a mention and typed a new name after @.
  • Switching to dark mode caused a color issue with mentions, making them unreadable.
  • Converting an item of a task checklist to a task did not automatically add it to Related tasks.
  • [Plug-in: Approvals] Resolved issues with file uploads:
    • The attachment list would vanish shortly after uploading multiple files.
    • When you moved the app to the background while uploading files, the files would disappear upon reopening the app.

Enhancements:

  • The Swit Store app interface has been expanded. You can now execute app actions within tasks and attachments, and attach various component formats to both new and existing tasks.

Bug fixes:

  • When you switched accounts while composing a message, the old text remained in the editor upon re-entering the channel.
  • The activity logs for a project’s custom fields failed to properly show related activities.
  • When attaching a message or idea to a task, tapping “Done” multiple times created multiple attachments.
  • An idea could be posted before the files attached to it finished uploading.
  • After editing an announcement, the text editor maintained the announcement template even when switching to compose a new message.

Enhancements:

  • Adjusted the size of the emoji picker to make all emoji tabs fully visible on a single screen.

Bug fixes:

  • While selecting channels and projects to invite newly invited workspace members to, the following issues were observed:
    • Auto-join projects could be deselected.
    • When there were ten auto-join channels, no other channels could be selected to invite the members to.
  • When a non-admin member deleted their account, the account didn’t sign out automatically.
  • In Chat info > Files, changing the Chats filter didn’t update the Members filter correspondingly.
  • After being removed from a workspace, selecting a past notification received upon being added to that workspace did not trigger the error dialog.
  • Fixed the following bugs with the project calendar view:
    • Scheduled task dates were not marked with a blue dot.
    • The bottom sheet for certain dates was not displaying properly.
  • Fixed the following bugs when sharing a file attached to a task to a channel:
    • After sharing the file, going back would fail to show the file in the Attachments tab.
    • The confirmation modal didn’t pop up.
  • While downloading files, occasional app crashes occurred.
  • [Enterprise plan] Switching between organizations with or without PIN requirement led to PIN setup errors.

Enhancements:

  • The Select UI element for Swit Store apps has been updated to include a search feature. This update is particularly useful for dropdown menus with extensive lists, enabling users to quickly find and select options instead of scrolling through the entire list.

Bug fixes:

  • Users could circumvent their organization’s PIN requirement by deleting and reinstalling the app.
  • The activity logs for project custom fields would fail to appropriately display user names.
  • When duplicating a personal task, it was impossible to deselect the Task collaborators option under “Select what to keep.”
  • It was impossible to upload images in the comment editor to messages, ideas, or chat messages.
  • When you entered a channel via a notification and tried to share a file from that channel, you could select a chat instead of a channel.
  • In Chat info > Files, no other chat was shown in the Chats filter.
  • When inviting a new member to a workspace, selecting and deselecting a member would erroneously add the member to the invite list.

Enhancements:

  • You can now copy or share URL links directly from posts for enhanced convenience and efficiency. Simply long press any URL link contained within a post to copy the link for personal use or share it with others.

Bug fixes:

  • After creating the first workspace in an organization, switching tabs made it appear as if you were not part of the workspace.
  • While composing a message, mentioning a member, deleting the member name, and typing something else would bring back the previously typed text.
  • Edits to a channel description would not apply properly.
  • Setting the Do not disturb hours and revisiting the settings would show an inadvertently extended duration.
  • When sharing a message to a channel or chat, tapping “Done” multiple times would lead to multiple shares.
  • After entering a task via a notification, deleting the task would crash the app.
  • Posting an announcement with images attached would result in a regular message generated instead.
  • While composing a message containing images, the thumbnails of images would sometimes not display.
  • [Plug-in: Approvals] In a request with images attached, tapping on an image multiple times would open multiple previews.
