Bug fixes:

  • Fixed the following bugs with the Goals plug-in:
    • While having the review modal open, clicking a push notification would not close the modal.
    • In the OKR details page, mentioning a member in the comment would not result in a push notification.
    • Connecting or disconnecting OKRs to archived projects would not result in an error modal.
  • Fixed the following bugs with the Approvals plug-in:
    • The request team would not be automatically set for the requests generated from external systems.
    • An error in the html viewer would not display the html content added to requests.
    • When setting a proxy approver, an incomplete member list without a scroll bar would be displayed for some accounts.
    • When setting approvers, recipient teams, or CC recipients via “Navigate teams”, the search results would be case sensitive.

  • For added layers of security in your organization, the following features have been added:
    • [Enterprise plan] Enterprise Key Management (EKM) to encrypt your organization’s data using Key Management Service (KMS) keys.

    • [Enterprise plan] File previews with watermark and preview format settings.

  • [Enterprise plan] File downloads can now be blocked based on the role and device of the user to protect your organization’s data.
  • [Plug-in: Goals] The following features were added:
    • Your organization members’ OKRs can now be managed more effectively with a more comprehensive view of teams and members.
    • You can now check in on the OKR list page by clicking on the progress bar without having to enter the OKR details page.
  • [Plug-in: Approvals] The Approvals coordinator role was split into two new roles—approvals manager and template manager—have been added for detailed permission management and convenience. Also, settings for the approvers and the request team were specified.

Updates:

  • [Plug-in: Guests] Guests can now sign in using SAML SSO.

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed the following bugs with the Goals plug-in:
    • Adding multiple OKRs in the task details page or connecting multiple tasks or projects in the OKR details page would result in infinite loading.
    • When the user connected an objective or a key result with no check-ins in the task details page, the progress would not be displayed properly.
    • The modal that is supposed to appear when deleting a key result doesn’t appear when deleting a key result aligned to an objective in the objective details page.
  • When the user moved from a dashboard page to a project with unread activities, the “Project unreads” panel would not appear.
  • Fixed the following bugs with the search feature:
    • When the user opened the search window in the right panel in the project page and entered the “My tasks” page, the filter for the previous project would remain.
    • When the user applied an additional filter in the search results and moved to another tab, the previous search results would still be displayed.
    • [Advanced plan and above] The member profile images in the list of direct message channels in the location filter would be wrongly displayed.

What’s new:

  • New and enhanced search features are now available:
    • Extended scope: You can now search members and direct messages (Advanced plan and above).
    • Search filters: You can now use various filters such as member, channel, and project, plus workspace and direct message for the Advanced plan and above.
    • Search section: The search section now opens in the right panel for better usability. When needed, click on the “View larger” icon to open a larger search modal.

Updates:

  • [Plug-in: Goals] The following updates have been made:
    • You can now set aligned objectives in the key result details page.
    • Checking in with a lower value than the previous percentage now results in an error pop-up.

Bug fixes:

  • [Plug-in: Goals] The following bugs have been fixed:
    • In the Team OKRs tab, the members would be listed in reverse alphabetical order.
    • In the OKR period dropdown, some archived time periods would be missing.
    • Selecting “Goals” in the member profile would take the user to the organization home.
    • Entering the OKRs details page of an inactive or deleted member would display the member’s profile as if their membership were active.
    • When you make edits to your OKRs in the Team OKRs tab and return to the list, the changes would not apply in real time.
  • In the project calendar view, clicking “More” to see all tasks for a particular date would not work properly.
  • When creating a task, entering a blank space with no text would activate the “Add” button.
  • Deleting a subtask in the subtask details page would make it seem not deleted.
  • [Advanced plan] In Admin console > Members & teams > Invitations > Import invitees from CSV, uploading an incorrectly composed CSV file would result in infinite loading.

Updates:

  • Improved the speed and performance of the Swit app.
  • The following updates with the dashboard charts were made:
    • Clicking on a chart area takes the user to the list of tasks that corresponds to the specific area selected. Previously, you had to click “View data in list” in order to see all data contained in the chart.
    • When a line chart is grouped by filters, the filters are now displayed on the top of the chart for better visibility. You can click each filter to display the data you want filtered.
  • [Plug-in: Goals] Improved the speed when moving across OKRs tabs.

Bug fixes:

  • In the line chart, setting the X-axis to “This month > by weeks” would not display the chart properly.
  • Creating or deleting a template for recurring tasks would not be applied in real time.
  • [Store app: Google Calendar & Meet] While in dark mode, creating a new event in the right panel would show some texts and icons in black.
  • [Plug-in: Goals] The following bugs with the plug-in were fixed:
    • Entering the OKRs details page of an inactive or deleted member would display the member’s profile as if their membership were active.
    • Clicking an image attached to a comment on the OKRs details page and pressing the Esc key would close the OKRs details page altogether.
    • While an OKRs tab is loading, moving backward or forward would result in an error.

  • [Plug-in: Guests] Guests can now mention organization members in channels, projects, and direct message channels they’re in. Previously they could only mention @Channel, @NowChannel, @Project, and @Task.

Bug fixes:

  • [Advanced plan] When the user opened the left tab, it would be unable to scroll down.
  • [Plug-in: Goals] The following bugs with the plug-in were fixed:
    • On Safari, comments in the object or key result details page wouldn’t be displayed.
    • When there is more than one aligned key result to an objective, a key result details page with a 0% progress would show the progress of the objective in the graph, instead of its own.
    • When writing a review, the “Submit” button would be activated even without a reviewer selected.
    • While a tab in Goals is loading, clicking another tab to enter would result in the lists of OKRs from different tabs overlapping with each other.
    • When a file is attached in a comment in the key result details page, the “More” button would not work properly.
    • While adding a key result in the object details page, pressing the Esc key would close the object details page.
    • When the screen size was changed, the UI elements within the page would not be dynamically resized.

  • Users can now submit their inquiries and suggestions more conveniently. Click the user profile on the top right corner, then select “Help” to use the interactive guide or contact support.

Bug fixes:

  • Task filters would not be applied in the following cases:
    • The user applied filters in “My tasks” and entered the tab again later.
    • [Advanced plan and above] The user applied the status filter in “All tasks”, entered a task details page and returned.
  • When the user applied filters in “My tasks”, the statuses of subtasks would be wrongly displayed.
  • When the screen size was not configured at 100% in the timeline view, dragging to change the task period would not work properly.
  • For a dashboard chart with the assignee filter applied and the “Show unassigned tasks” toggle off, selecting “View data in list” would not work properly.
  • When searching members in the channel or project member list, a change in the status of a participating member would reset the typed text in the search window.
  • While having a mention list box open, changing the search keyword would make the new mention list overlap with the previous one.
  • While in the ideation tab of a channel, even ideas created in another channel would be added.
  • [Plug-in: Goals] In the “All OKRs” tab, entering a particular objective or key result page and returning would cause an error.
  • [Plug-in: Goals] In the “My OKRs” tab, clicking the “see more” icon and selecting “Aligned key result” of an objective not aligned to any key result would deactivate the screen.
  • [Plug-in: Goals] Guest members could see the “Goals” menu in an organization member’s profile.

  • The Swit app no longer slows down or decreases in performance in the following cases:
    • When inviting a new member to a channel
    • When entering a project page
    • There were multiple buckets are tasks within a project
    • When changing the project view mode to the kanban view or the list view
  • [Plug-in: Goals] You can now connect up to 20 projects and tasks to an objective or a key result.

Bug fixes:

  • The Swit app would close in case of a major update.
  • [Plug-in: Goals] The following bugs with the plug-in were fixed:
    • Edits made to the OKRs shared to channels or direct message channels would not be applied right away.
    • When the user changed the order of objectives in the “My OKRs” tab and created a new objective, the names of objectives would be wrongly displayed.
    • When there was a key result aligned to an objective, some items in the dropdown menu for the aligned key result would not work properly.
    • After editing a review, the screen wouldn’t close by clicking the Submit button.
    • Entering the member OKRs shared via URL would show the OKRs filtered by the person clicking the URL, not the owner of the OKRs shared.
    • Clicking “Goals” in a member’s profile box would not take the user to the Goals page.
    • Opening an object shared via a direct message and clicking a key result therein would take the user back to the direct message channel.

  • [Plug-in: Swit Guests] A "guest" role with limited privileges has been added for organizations. With the guest role, a more seamless workflow experience is made possible in internal and external communications.

Bug fixes:

  • In the task details page, assignees or collaborators would occasionally not be displayed.
  • Unarchiving a channel or project would cause an error.
  • Pressing the Esc key while editing a task comment would close the task details page instead of the comment window.
  • While typing in a URL in the text editor, editing it would make it not styled as a link.
  • Even with no unread messages left, the red dot would sometimes remain.
  • Changing the default box setting in a workspace would not be applied in real time.
  • When the user entered a project, they didn’t join via its URL and joined it, the project data would not be loaded properly.
  • While moving a subtask into another task, private projects would occasionally not be shown in the project list.
  • A task with more than 6 assignees would fail to show their profile images.
  • Some bugs related to dashboards were fixed.
  • [Advanced plan and above] A momentary network disconnection would cause a failure when writing in a direct message channel where no message has been sent.

  • Dark mode is now available. The Display setting is accessible from the Home > clicking the username, or from the workspace > clicking the profile image.

Updates:

  • Improved the performance degradation that would be shown during a prolonged use of the app.

Bug fixes:

  • In the account profile settings, saving changes would cause the profile page to display the previous settings temporarily.
  • When the app screen was zoomed in or out:
    • The emoji picker’s category tabs wouldn’t be selectable.
    • [Windows app only] The Minimize button would disappear.
  • When a task opened from the “All tasks” page was edited and then closed, the All tasks list wouldn’t reflect the changes to the task.
  • [Advanced plan] When the direct message channel list was filtered by Starred, newly incoming messages would cause their destination channels to show up even if they were not starred.

  • [Enterprise plan] When organization members access, upload, or download information, these activities are now recorded in the audit logs. Audit managers and auditors have access to the organization's audit logs for security purposes. Updates:

  • When creating or editing a chart in a dashboard, you can now choose the colors you want.
  • [macOS app] When updating the app, you can now access the app right away without having to open a web browser.

Bug fixes:

  • When entering a dashboard, some number charts wouldn’t be displayed properly.
  • In a dashboard, elements of battery, pie, and donut charts would overlap with each other depending on the app/web screen size.
  • When the user scrolled down in the task details page, it would be impossible to move the app window by dragging and dropping.
  • Even after deleting a task period, previous settings would occasionally remain.
  • When copying and pasting text written in an ordered list, some text would be formatted in a bulleted list.
  • When browsing projects, clicking the member icon, then clicking a member would show the member profile at the background of the modal.
  • When sharing a file from the workspace Files page in the right panel to a channel, dragging and dropping the file name area would make it recognized as text instead of a file.
  • [Free/Standard plan] When the user already having a Swit account tried to sign in via an invitation link, it would result in infinite loading.
  • [Advanced plan] When a new team was created and members were added, or when a new member was added to an existing team while in a channel, the newly created team would not appear in the mention list.

What’s new:

  • [Standard plan and above] Dashboards are now available to help you have a comprehensive view of the task data scattered across different projects. In the dashboard view, you can see an individual project or create a dashboard out of multiple projects you want.

Updates:

  • The ordered list and the bulleted list in the text editor, which were previously only available up to three levels, are now available up to five levels, allowing better organization of content in your posts and comments.

Bug fixes:

  • In the activity notification settings, even when the upper-level toggle switch was off, it was possible to change the lower-level options.
  • When adding a tag to a task, a mouse scroll would cause the dropdown menu to show up at the top left of the window instead of its due place.
  • Some issues with the task status filter:
    • In the status view, the task status filter was disabled.
    • The status filter would include Backlog.
  • [Standard plan and above] For recurring tasks, the repeat time setting would not accommodate all time zones.

  • While viewing the All tasks page filtered by status, clicking open a task and then closing it would make the task disappear from the list.

    • The tasks for which either a start date or end date had not been set were not visible.

  • [Plug-in: Approvals] Adding recipient teams or CC recipients to an approved request would occasionally result in infinite loading.

  • [Plug-in: Approvals] You can now add recipient teams and CC recipients to already approved requests.

Updates:

  • The speed and performance of the Swit app have been improved.
  • [Installed app] You can now navigate backward and forward in the Swit app by using the mouse side buttons.
  • [Advanced plan] To avoid confusion, organizations using user provisioning can now optionally disallow members from editing their profile information manually. If this option is off, members can edit their name and email address, which was previously not allowed when SSO was on.

Bug fixes:

  • When clicking the profile image of a webhook message, the profile information box would not open.
  • If text was entered in the editor while a message with files attached was being uploaded, it would be removed right after the file upload was complete.
  • When sharing a message, the workspace where the message is from would be displayed incorrectly.

  • [Advanced plan] Custom emojis wouldn’t be shown normally in the All activity page.
  • [Advanced plan] When in the All activity or All mentions page, logout would fail.
  • [Plug-in : Approvals] When in an Approvals request, images attached to comments wouldn’t be shown in full view.

What’s new:

  • Users can now customize the push notification style for messages, mentions, and activities as they want for the Swit app. Previously, Swit’s push notifications could be managed only at the OS level.
  • [Plug-in: Approvals] Users can now attach Google Drive files to a new request in Approvals in addition to uploading files. But to use this feature, administrative members must link their Google Drive account in advance.

Bug fixes:

  • [Free/Standard plan] When sharing a message with more than one mention, those after the first mention would be dropped out.
  • [Advanced plan] While editing a direct message or a comment on it, the mention list box popped up by typing an @ sign would show only @Channel and @NowChannel although it’s supposed to include the channel members as well.
  • [Plug-in: Approvals] The HTML content appended to requests would load slowly under some circumstances.

  • Users would occasionally experience trouble sending messages.
  • Pressing the shortcut key (↑) in the comments panel for a direct message to edit the last comment would not work.

  • [Advanced plan] Direct message channels in the Advanced plan, previously accessible only from the organization Home, can now be used within a workspace without having to switch pages. Stay in your workspace and enjoy communication with your colleagues in the right panel.

  • We fixed the issue where large-scale workspaces with numerous members had previously experienced performance degradation.

Bug fixes:

  • When the user set themselves to away, the toggle button wouldn’t display the on/off state correctly.
  • When the user had not joined any workspace, entering User settings > Push would cause an error message.
  • While in the User settings > Push page, signing out would cause an error message to pop up.
  • In All tasks, saving as a different filter set would affect the previously saved one.
  • If a checklist item was added with an @ sign at the beginning, it would be wrongly recognized as a mention in the Activity notification.
  • [Advanced plan] In the Admin console, changing a custom profile field’s visibility would cause an error message because the custom fields wouldn’t be correctly counted.
  • [Plug-in: Approvals] The HTML content attached to an Approvals request would occasionally fail to be displayed.

Updates:

  • Push notification settings are now account-based. Users can now manage notification settings for Push (including the settings for the Do not disturb mode), Activity, and Mentions that apply across all workspaces in User settings.
  • [Plug-in: Approvals] Scrolling is now available in the left panel of Approvals to allow users complete access to the panel area even when the app window is resized smaller.

Bug fixes:

  • Even after the host role of a project was transferred to someone else, the Manage project menu would still remain visible.
  • Even when the host of a channel chose not to show the previous post history to new members, sharing previous messages in the channel after inviting new members would allow them to see the messages.
  • [macOS app] While the Swit app was running in the background, clicking an incoming push notification wouldn’t open the app properly.

What’s new:

  • Projects with unread activities are now displayed at the top of the project list under “Unread.”
  • [Advanced plan] User profiles can be extended with “custom fields” to meet your organization’s specific needs. Organization administrators can add various types of custom fields, and each member can freely fill in those fields on their profile.

Updates:

  • [Plug-in: Approvals] You can now specify an unlimited number of recipient teams (previously up to 10) for approval requests.

Bug fixes:

  • After viewing a video attached to a task comment in full screen, pressing Esc would close the task details page altogether.
  • [macOS app] When the user opened the comments added to a message in the right panel, the screen would flicker intermittently.
  • [Advanced plan] When mentioned with @Unassigned (members who don’t belong to any team), the recipients could not properly see the notifications in All mentions.

  • [Advanced plan] The teams function has been enhanced with the following features:
    • The members who don’t belong to any team are automatically added to “Unassigned.”
    • The hierarchical team structure can be easily edited using drags & drops in the Admin console, and each member’s profile shows the hierarchy of the teams they joined.
    • When a new member is added to a team, they are automatically added to all its upper-level teams as well.

Updates:

  • Permissions to manage both channels and projects in a workspace can now have separate settings. Channels and projects each are given greater independence and security.
  • When the app window is resized smaller, the channel and project lists are no longer closed automatically.

Bug fixes:

  • Some message URLs would fail to direct the user to the correct message.
  • The user was able to move to an already deleted channel or project through an activity notification.
  • The user could not open a channel or project in a new window using the Shift key.
  • [Plug-in: Approvals] When the user closed the left panel in the Approvals page, clicking the “More” button wouldn't work.

What’s new:

  • To avoid confusion, the sign-in process has been simplified and you can now choose your plan to sign in from the main page.
  • Channels with unread messages are now displayed at the top of the channel list under “Unread”.

Updates:

  • [Approvals plug-in] The following updates have been made.
    • Extended the maximum number of approvers for each level: 5 → 30
    • Extended the maximum number of CC recipients: 10 → 30
    • Added a consensus approval feature so that all approvers at each level must approve the request before it can proceed to the next approval level.
    • For unread requests, a red dot will be displayed in the inbox next to the tab label and at the relevant item in the left panel.
    • In the request list page, those with unread comments will be marked with a colored comment icon.
    • When you tap the push notification for a new comment to enter the relevant page, the selected comment is now highlighted.
    • Added some new cases to “All activity” notifications.

Bug fixes:

  • When there was an unread task notification, trying to “Copy task URL” in the “Project unreads” panel wouldn’t work properly.
  • When copying and pasting a link, some parts of the text would not be recognized as part of the link.
  • [Standard plan] Clicking on “Update card information” on the billing page would take the user back to the workspace.
  • [Installed app] When creating a password after signing up using an Apple ID, a separate account would be created using the email address connected to the Apple ID.

  • If the All tasks page was opened with the screen zoomed out, the scrollbar would disappear, making it impossible to load more tasks.
  • When clicking files from Google Drive or OneDrive attached in the task details page, the preview would fail to show the file information properly.
  • The “Download All” button to download all files attached in the task details page wouldn’t work properly.
  • Clicking a notification in the activity or mention notification panel would unintendedly close the panel when moving to the target location.
  • When sharing a direct message, the message’s preview wouldn't be displayed.

What’s new:

  • Swit now offers enhanced security for your account: In the event of five unsuccessful login attempts, your account will be locked for protection for a certain period of time.
  • In the task details page, the previously separate sections of Related messages & ideas and Attachments are now merged into a single section under Attachments for better accessibility.
  • [Advanced only] In the task details page, you can now attach direct messages and requests from Approvals (paid plug-in feature) as well. This sharing also can be performed from:
    • The Direct messages page (both “convert to new task” & “add to task”), and
    • The Approvals page (“add to task” only)

  • [Advanced only] When an organization allows both single sign-on (SSO) and basic sign-in, its members can now sign up without an SSO account. Previously, when SSO was enabled, sign-up would have been restricted only to SSO account holders so organizations couldn’t use SSO unless every member had an SSO account.
  • When you enter a channel with unread messages, you will be taken to where you left off, making it easier for you to keep track of the conversation.

  • The speed and performance when viewing project pages have been improved as follows:
    • No latency occurs when loading the view even with a large number of tasks in the project.
    • When using auto-scroll while dragging a task, scroll acceleration is now applied.
    • When the dragging of a task is canceled by pressing Esc, its auto-return to the original position is now visually animated to clarify the action.

Bug fixes:

  • When a message with two or more images attached was opened in the right panel, selecting any image would always result in the first image’s preview displayed.
  • Once the PC enters sleep mode, the list of direct message channels would remain not updated even after waking up.
  • [Web browser only] When the user downloaded an attachment whose filename contained non-English letters in a direct message channel, the filename would be broken.

  • In some situations, the project page would fail to load the project members.
